I can no longer abide the perception of Barack Obama as the Messiah. Time to take him down a peg.

It’s been a weird couple of days.

On Friday, I got a package from Dell. I was thinking it was the free, cruddy software I never got when I ordered my notebook last November. So, I open the thing only to find that it wasn’t software at all. It was a 7.1 Megapixel camera…which I did not order.

This immediately set an alarm bell of in my head, because, My family’s credit line was stolen a couple weeks ago, and we had all of our cards canceled and replaced, and all fraudulent charges nullified. So, I immediately call my credit card companies to see if unauthorized charges have been made on my new cards. According to my creditors, none had occurred.

This is my first Youtube video, BTW. :)

The man is just scary smart.

So, this is where we are.

I have to tell you, it’s a place where I never thought we would be. I remember lying in bed with a broken back, notepad in hand, taking notes during the first Republican presidential debate. It was summer then, and yes, I am that weird.

I remember seeing a frail, rambling John McCain insisting he would be the nominee of the party. I laughed. No way that would happen. The old man was still full of himself. We’d rejected him in 2000 because of his loose grip on reality, and we would most certainly do so again. He’s the black sheep of the GOP after all. He supported amnesty for illegal aliens, opposed tax cuts, and limited free speech with his campaign finance reform act. His candidacy was to be nothing more than an exercise in his own vanity. John McCain has never met a TV camera he didn’t like, and he uses his exposure by the mainstream media to actively stab the conservative base of the party in the eye. “The Maverick”, they call him.
