You Wouldn’t Like Me When I’m Angry
As many of you know, I am not a huge proponent of television. However, I will occasionally come across a show I like, such as “The Dresden Files.”
However, every time I find a show I like, it gets canceled. I can’t take it any more. I’ve never written to a network about a TV show before, but I’m tired of Sci-Fi channel’s crap, and i decided to tell them just that. I know it won’t matter a bit but damn it, *I * feel better.
Observe:
To whom it may concern:
I would personally like to commend Sci-Fi on reaching the obviously brilliant decision to cancel a show such as The Dresden Files. This is an obvious illustration of your programming genius. I mean who needs a fun, interesting, and well written show such as Dresden; when you obviously need to make more room for such cinematic classics as Boa Vs. Python or Chupacabra: Dark Seas?” Perhaps you needed to clear some room in your budget for a sequel to the obviously ILM-inspired SS Doomtrooper?
Riveting stuff, guys. Really.
We all should have seen it coming when Jimi Hendrix tunes were injected into Battlestar Galactica. You don’t give a damn about quality. The whole channel has jumped the shark. Hmm…maybe that’s an idea you can float around in that manure processing plant of yours you call a “production department”.
I can see it now. A story about a group of hyper intelligent oceanic predators who travel through space and time wreaking havoc on the universe. Better get out your Rolodex and call Casper Van Dien. We may have a winner here. (That is, if Casper can get a few shifts off from Burger King.)
I’d pay money to see your creative and programming staffs “interviewed” by Jack Bauer, and then perhaps urinated on by Joss Whedon, George Lucas, and the re-animated corpse of Gene Roddenberry.
You are all useless.
Sincerely,
Art Lindsey III

I hear you. All the great shows that take time to get going always get but. I just recently watched Firefly and find my self hoping for more.
The grave yard of great shows keeps getting bigger and bigger. Just because you get 5 Million viewers instead of 6 you shouldn’t cut the show.
American TV is a waste. Some money need to be given to the youtubers creating content that is worth the time.
